The International Gemmological Institute (IGI) is the largest independent gem grading and appraisal institutes in the world.
They were established in 1975 in Antwerp, and today is the oldest institute of its kind with offices in New York, Bangkok, Mumbai and Tokyo.
They are renowned in the trade for their expertise and extensive experience having served the diamond and jewellery industry for over 25 years.
The IGI issues annually over 420,000 reports.
